I've always loved color and unique beauty of all sorts. In fact, I remember as a young child looking at the sky and wondering what colors did God use to get that exact shade of blue? I was intrigued and determined to find out! By the way, I still do that!

Years later, as I began to decorate my own home, I would pour over my decorating books and magazines or again, nature--and wonder at the splendor of art and color! It only seemed natural for me to grab a canvas and paints!!

I started painting simply for the joy of it, filling my own walls with color before I had ever taken an art course. Before long, family and friends began asking for pieces of their own, which encouraged me to take a leap and share my work more widely. What began as a small passion has grown into something I never expected—today my paintings are bringing happiness to homes across the U.S. and abroad.

What a ball this journey was been--yes, I've second guessed myself a million and one times, and I'll probably continue to do that for years! But every time I've wanted to give up--something wonderful happens!

My work stands alone as a great focal piece or it's a wonderful addition to any collection! It adds texture, movement, interest, and color--working WITH a space, bringing it together in a way that delights the eye!

I live in the Huntsville, Alabama area with my general contractor husband and our boxer baby, Will. Our children live close by, which thrills our hearts! I spend most of my time in my studio!
